2026 Public Power Candidate Scorecard

A reformatted, more legible view of the Ann Arbor for Public Power scorecard — separating the questionnaire’s checkbox answers, each candidate’s own words, and A2P2’s editorial notes, with an explicit scoring rubric for every question.

What changed in this version. Every question now shows a scoring rubric — what earns each grade — and each answer option is tagged with the grade it implies. Where a candidate’s assigned grade differs from what their checkbox implies, it’s flagged (⚠) so you can see the editorial judgment instead of guessing. Each question is laid out as a three-part grid: the checkbox answers, then “in their own words,” then A2P2’s note.
